Central IA Handyman is based in Central Iowa and provides residential and small commercial handyman, repair, and improvement services. Our goal is to deliver high-quality workmanship with honesty, reliability, and professionalism.

2. Scope of Services

We provide a variety of home repair, maintenance, and improvement services, including but not limited to:

  • General handyman repairs

  • Home improvement projects

  • Maintenance and small-scale renovations

A detailed scope of work, including timelines and costs, will be agreed upon before any project begins. We reserve the right to decline services that fall outside our expertise or licensing.

3. Estimates & Pricing
  • All project estimates are provided in writing and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

  • Estimates are based on the information provided by the customer at the time of request. Changes in project scope or unforeseen conditions may result in additional costs.

  • Final payment is due upon project completion unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

4. Payment Terms
  • Payment methods accepted: cash, check, and major credit cards.

  • For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins.

  • Invoices not paid within the agreed payment period may be subject to late fees.

5. Workmanship Standards

Central IA Handyman is committed to delivering quality work that meets or exceeds industry standards. If you have concerns about workmanship, you must notify us within 14 days of project completion so we can address the issue promptly.

6. Customer Responsibilities

To help ensure timely and safe service, customers agree to:

  • Provide clear and safe access to the work area.

  • Disclose any known hazards or special requirements.

  • Be present, or have an authorized representative present, during scheduled service times unless other arrangements are made.

7. Warranty

We stand behind our workmanship. Most services come with a 30-day limited warranty unless otherwise stated in writing. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, or issues arising from materials supplied by the customer.

8. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that schedules can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

9. Liability

While we take every precaution to protect your property, Central IA Handyman is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing issues or damage

  • Incidental or consequential damages resulting from the work performed

  • Delays caused by weather, supply chain issues, or factors beyond our control
